MY OH MY, WHAT A PERFORMER!
We were so surprised! As most of you know, Caleb has been 'the easy child', he is calm, easy going, a bit on the shy side(when he goes shopping with me, he still hides behind me so he doesn't have to look at or talk to the sales people), loves to snuggle and just be his sweet self! (although he is now starting to tell me 'no'! I guess at almost 5 that is ok!) When I signed him up for TaVaci, I thought it would be a fun experience for him, he likes to sing, but I assumed he would freeze and be shy when it came time for actually singing in front of people. When he first brought his song CD home he wouldn't even sing in front of us! But he loved going to his TaVaci class!
Last night, was awesome! To see our sweet little boy on stage just loving it, soaking in the lights, the microphones, and especially the crowd! We are hoping to get a copy of the whole show! Too priceless not to keep it! FOREVER!!!! It is hard to explain, you just have to see his performance to enjoy it! So hopefully soon! We laughed soooooo hard! When ever there was a microphone, he was on it. He had no Fear! And some really good dance moves! He is our Performer!!!
Notice Calebs fun FIRE SOCKS! That is one thing I love about Caleb, he loves to wear fun Socks! He is so funny! The comment is often made when he wears those socks 'Hey Caleb your feet are on FIRE!' And every time Caleb just laughs and laughs and laughs!
As I was starting this post, I noticed (for the first time in almost 5 years, am I slow or what!) that Caleb's name is Blake's just messed up and with a C for the K. You know an Anagram!!! Makes me laugh! A few years ago, when Caleb was learning his letter sounds he was convinced that his name should start with a 'K'! We had many long conversations about letters and he finally relented when Blake told him that 'C' was a secret agent a sneaky letter 'C' and could take the kay sound from the 'K'! We should have listened to him and he could be an exact anagram for Blake!!! After seeing Caleb's performance last night, we have decided that he is Blake's 'Mini Me'!! He looks like him, has the anagram name with him, and is now a performer just like him!!!! (yes, my Blakie was quite the performer, a Master Thespian in High School!)
We Love our Caleb so much! It is fun to see his 'personality' shine through!

You have no idea how many people told me they got more video of Caleb than their own kid. I couldn't watch him too much...it was making me laugh and I didn't want to lose focus. SUCH A FUN KID! Definately NOT shy!
Oh, I wish I could have seen him!! He is so dang cute!!
