April, where did it go?

Why does it seem I close my eyes for a few seconds and another month has passed?!!!

April started out with Spring Break! On the first we had a spur of the moment April Fools birthday party to celebrate Spencer's 7th birthday. (it is on the 3rd but we decided to celebrate with friends on the first) I think we took pictures??? We had a fun time. We did lots of practical jokes and had a silly time! We played 'pin the booger on the nose'! It is easy! Just chew up a bunch of green gum stick it on your nose, get blind folded, turned around a few times, and try to get that (gum) booger off your nose and onto the large paper nose on the wall! Gooey and Gross! We made pipe cleaner arrows to go thru our heads. We also decorated green slimy cupcakes with fish, Lexi's orange hair(eatable easter grass), Magic Beans, and the makings for hamburgers!

When it came time for the kids to go their goodie bags stuff was put into my recycling stuff. There was a pizza box, a pasta box, and other odd boxes! I think some of the kids were confused, but that is ok! We had fun for Spencer's birthday and april fools!
In honor of Spencer's 7th birthday, I'll tell you 7 unique things about him!
~ Spencer has a slight cleft in his chin, just like his momma!
~ Spencer is an Air Force baby! Our only baby to be born while we were active duty!
~ Spencer had surgery at 8 months old to remove a lump from his arm.
~ Spencer has a way of making people who really don't like kids, like him!
~ Spencer has eaten a roly poly bug, and had a baby slug in his mouth!
~ Spencer loves to dance! He has awesome moves and can really boogie down!
~ Spencer can always make us laugh, he is a kind and loving kid with a huge heart!
We just love our Spencer!

The evening of the first we headed to Bellevue to spend a few days with my Mom and Sisters. We had lots of fun! Becky has two dogs(Parker and CoCo) that Chloe and Maggie have been dying to meet! So, we took the girls along with us! That was a crazy ride! We had them in the back of the Yukon, but Miss Maggie tried to climb up front. She is very persistant! While in Bellevue we went to an enormous off leash dog park. It was so fun for the doggies! The girls had fun with there dog cousins! But as alway it was good to come back home. 4 doggies under foot in one smallish house is CRAZY!!! But we will do it again!!!!
While at my mom's I got to go shopping in her fabric closet! We found lots of fun stuff! Even enough fabric for a dress for Emily and I for Trek! Ryan and I headed down to the basement and explored Grandpa Roses work shop, food storage room, and the wall of keys! We had a great time! While I collected keys for Amy, Ryan found a new love of Keys and started his own collection! We found some amazing things in our Grandpa's Shop! There is something to be said for Pack Rats! One man's trash is another man's treasure - and we found TREASURE!

Well, that took longer than I thought. I will continue to go back over April later! We are only 4 day into April, this might take some time!!!!
