double digits!

I know I have kind of taken a break for the past while, but instead of going back (which the thought of makes me not want to blog!) I am being early! As I write, Ryan and his friend are downstairs watching 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' in celebration of his turning 10 on Monday! I think boys come naturally with the desire to watch movies REALLY REALLY loud!!!! We started out the evening with some Guitar Hero, then moved into the Candy Game (Thanks Crofts for sharing your fun game!). Ryan opted for Ice Cream Sundae's instead of the traditional Cake. We made yummy HOT FUDGE! Of course there was Carmel and Fresh Strawberries, and it wouldn't be a Sundae without some Whipping cream, you know the spray variety!!! (I could eat a whole can by myself!!!) And a Cherry on top! We even put 10 candles on Ry's Ice Cream! I think they are having fun!!!
After the movie the boys had a silly string war in the front yard! What a FUN MESS!!! No one or thing went without a bit of silly string!

In Honor of Ryan's 10th birthday, here are ten random things about our Ry guy!

1. His full name is Ryan Thomas , Ryan cause we just liked it and Thomas for his Grandpa.

2. Ryan was due on June 3 and was 5 days late!!!! I was going to go in and be induced the next day. Thank you Ryan for coming when you did!

3. Ryan's birth experience was great! I totally enjoyed it - It empowered me! And yes, it was Oh Natural!!!

4. Ryan was an easy going baby (he saved up all of his energy for later!)

5. When he was 2 he called sunglasses 'Cool Babies'!

6. In the first 4 years of Ryan's life he lived in 4 different homes, and 3 different States.

7. Ryan loves to read! He devours books.

8. He has a tender heart.

9. Ryan loves Karate.

10. Ryan is fearless, unless bugs or spiders are involved!

It is hard to believe that 10 years have gone by! We love our Ryan! Life wouldn't be the same without him! Happy early Birthday Ryan!!!!!
