Finally out of the Garage!

After 3 months of being worked on, our new to us table is finally out of the garage! When we brought this table home from it's previous home in February,I thought Blake could refinish it in a snap. Well, Blake and I have very different time tables! I thought we'd have our new to us table up in the kitchen in no time, I estimated about a week. That is a laugh! After much hard work it is as finished as it will get! It is not perfect, but it looks really good! Now to await the first scratch or boo boo on the table!!!!!!!!

There are 2 more leaves we have to finish still! They are stained and sanded, just need to be lacquered up! Blake and I started working on this project together. Stripping furniture is really fun, if you get the right stuff! But when it came to the sanding, staining, sanding, staining, sanding I let Blake take over! He worked so hard to make our table beautiful! Thanks Blake you did a wonderful job! What is the next project we get to work on???
