Can you believe my baby girl is 13!???
Emily turned 13 on the 17th, and we celebrated all weekend long!
On Saturday, Blake and I took Emily on an outing to down town Portland! We spent hours wandering through Powells (in case you didn't know Powells is in amazing new and used book store that is an entire block and up like 4 stories high! AMAZING!!!)! Emily is a voracious reader, so this was a present in it's self! She was able to buy quite a few books of her choice. After our book walk, we headed to 'Kenny and Zukes' for some yummy lunch!
What could a teenager want more than books, and an outing with her parents and lunch?!?
Maybe some friends? Yep, that would do it! That evening we had a houseful of teeny boppers! (oh and Em loves it when i call 'em that!) Friends, games, brownie sundae's, and a movie made the evening just about right!

Sunday we had more celebrating!
Celebrating on Sunday with another brownie sundae!My Sweet Emily is 13! (i'd love to post some baby pic of her, but then i'd have to find them, scan, and that is more than i can do right now!) It seems so long ago that she was our only one, and then it seems like just yesterday! She is an amazing girl, with a big heart! She is a wonderful big sister! We are so blessed to have Emily in our lives! We Love You EMIILY!

Wow, time really does fly by doesn't it? It was just yesterday you were on that trip with Blake & PD traipsing thru South America, so sick. Now that baby in your tummy, that made you so sick, is a teenage girl. Wow. That's all I can say...wow.
