blogging and small things

Could it be I am just not cut out to be a blogger? I've been at this a bit over one year now. It was easy at first, lately, I start more posts than I finish. And what I do post is like those bad journal entries I want to tear out and rip to shreads. What has happened to me!!!

Catch up time.

Went to trek as Ma and Pa. It was great! If I posted the week after, I'd have all sorts of great stories to relate. But what you get . . . It was great, it was hard, I'd do it again!

1/2 Family Reunion (what we call it when not every brother and sister can come) We were missing 2 siblings, lots of grandkids and 3 great grandkids. We had a great time just hanging out. The older I get the more I just like to just hang out and talk. It was a great unplanned reunion(Unplanned by me)!

We are having a low key summer. If the kids feel like doing math, there is math for them to do. Occasionally we clean house. We visit the library, and read lots of books. We even rode our bikes to the library! 6 miles for the total trip! My Kids ROCK! We are babysitting a Trampoline for friends who sold their house and are doing the apartment until the new house gets built. The kids are doing a lot of bouncing. I have discovered I am old and can only take the bouncing for a short time. I have been sewing, and enjoy it. I made Spencer and Emily jammies. All our trek clothing. Two skirts for myself. 2 baby items (for presents, not for me!!!) I have been running occasionally, I'd like to do more, but with 5 kids not so much free time.

Not much else going on. I am finding joy in the little thing. Grace staying dry, heck, staying zipped in her nappy jammies so I don't have to deal with poopie painting! Three boys playing in the playroom for more than 5 min without fighting! Children clearing there own dishes! Toilets beeing flushed! Instant view movies on Net Flix! Blueberries a plenty in my back yard! A fresh mown lawn! AHHHH the simple joys of life!

May you all have a wonderful day, and enjoy the small things, however small they may be!
