14 years

On the 27th we (Blake and I) celebrated our 14th anniversary. Can you believe it has been that long! (Yes I can, especially since 7 days before our anniversary my niece, who was in Kindergarten when we got married, got married! AHHHH feeling sooooo old!!!) With it being right after Christmas and Grace's birthday it some times get lost. This year we decided to do something we'd never done together. We went Cross-Counrty Skiing! Blake has been many times, I have been down hill skiing (over 12 years ago). We had hoped with all our good snowing weather we could just go someplace closer to home. But the morning of the 27th it was raining, so we headed to Mt. Hood. It was still misting there, but there was much, much more snow. Ok - cool picture check out the Blue Snow. I had never seen this before, but when it get really really cold and it rains or something, when you take a step the under snow is Blue! I know, I might not make sense, but it was so cool we had to take a picture! So, to get to the nice flat trails so we could cross country ski we had to go down a nice hill! I haven't been skiing since before children!!!! It was quite an adventure!!! It is really good that I can laugh at myself . . . A LOT!!! I think I spent most of the time going down the hill on my butt! Actually, I think it took us longer to get down that hill than we spent on the flat trails. But, I could be wrong! It sure felt that way!

Yep, that is Me under all that snow gear! We didn't manage to get a picture of Blake. We did try to get one of the two of us together, but it was so cold the camera wouldn't work!!! So, here is real high quality (best yet taken) pictures of Blake and I in the car on the way to(or home from?) our anniversary date!

We had a great day together! I love my Crazy Husband! To 14+ more years of marriage!

Ha Ha Sounds like I would have loved to watch! I haven't been skiing myself since that time before you had kids when we all went together. LOL

I hear Edith Bunker singing "Those were the days." We are not old, we are not old.

Hope you guys had a great anniversary...ours is only 2 months away!

Happy Anniversary!
